What we collect
When you join, we store your email address, selected language, consent to launch updates, consent version, signup time and signup source. This form is for adults. We do not ask for children’s names, ages, recordings or conversations. With analytics consent, we also measure page visits, campaign tags, demo use and signup or shopping actions using a random browser identifier. Signup emails and form contents are not sent to analytics.
Why we use it
We use signup details to manage the early-access list and send the Bau product and launch updates you requested. Joining is free and does not reserve a product. Optional analytics helps us understand website use and which campaigns lead to signups. Optional advertising measures campaign results and may support relevant ads. Cookie consent is separate from consent to receive email updates.
Hosting and storage
The website is hosted using Google Firebase and Google Cloud. Signup records are stored in a private Google Cloud Storage bucket. When configured and allowed by your choices, PostHog processes website analytics, and Meta and Google process advertising events. These providers may process data outside your country. Hosting and tracking providers may process technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver their services. We do not send signup emails or children’s information to tracking providers.
Your choices and retention
We keep signup details to operate the early-access list. You can withdraw email consent or request access, correction or deletion by emailing us. Requests are handled by the Bau team. Change optional tracking at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. We remember that choice for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking and clears PostHog browser storage; it does not automatically delete events already received by providers. Contact us about deletion requests.
Website demos, cookies and tracking
Audio examples are prerecorded. The website does not access your microphone or record conversations. App settings in the demo reset when you reload. Essential cookies remember the shopping bag for up to 30 days; essential browser storage remembers your cookie choices. PostHog loads only after analytics consent. Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags, when configured, load only after advertising consent. Optional choices start off. We do not use session replay, automatic form capture or enhanced conversions that share email addresses.
